Tell the customer what parts you will be using and troubleshoot a problem before just throughout parts at it. I watch a 30 second u tube clip and troubleshooted the problem in 5 minutes without replacing anything.
The price of my service was quite a bit higher at your place than a few other places I check on.

Be honest about the service and price breakdown. It was explained to me that it would cost $800 to replace a $99 thermostat BECAUSE the job takes about 3 hours. I was called 45 minutes after I dropped off my vehicle and Midas left a voicemail saying service was complete and I can pick up my vehicle. Upon pick-up, I questioned the price due to the large time difference that was quoted and the Midas representative responded rudely and harshly. He stated that they overestimate the time of service on purpose. When I pointed out the way the price was quoted to me based on time of service and the time of service was drastically different than quoted. He told me to take my keys and get out.
Services needed were throughly explained. The cost was explained. The importance of needing a specific service and the effect not getting the service would cause was explained in a way that made sense.
The price. Over $70 for an oil change... on a caravan...a truck I can see... but a caravan.?.
Customer Service at this location is A1! I would highly recommend this location.

I just bought a truck, the bearings were dry i asked to put grease in the fittings. which in my mind is part of a oil change. I asked two employees to do this, willing to pay for it, both said yes and the job wasn't performed. I change my oil Normally since this was a used truck i just bought I figured taking to Midas was a smart choice, not one I would remember as being a bad place to do business.

The manager seemed to be all over the place, was not familiar with the midas program. The other service staff was very helpful but he was not so receptive.

If you charge a diagnosis fee then do the work of checking the vehicle out. If not don't charge a customer for a check that was not done. My blower motor was not working. The mechanic said there was no power. The problem was a faulty blower resistor. Had he did his job he would have known that. This is unacceptable
