Was talked into the lifetime warranty because he said I could take it to any Midas store and they would do my alignment for free. I asked about Charlotte and Wilmington because I told him we were moving. He said yes they could look it up if not, they could call him and he would give them the information. After I paid and left the store I decided to call all the Charlotte and Wilmington stores and no one said they would honor the warranty. They said it only applies probably to the local franchise.
Ever since the change of ownership, things have definitely changed. It’s the little things: like failing to replace the window sticker after an oil change and not going over the courtesy check in person. Thankfully they did do the courtesy check this time,and tthey did call to talk about a couple things they noticed but didn’t go over any of the rest of it which didn’t give an opportunity to clarify some of what was on there. At least this time they remembered to reset the computer after the oil change (last time that was missed as well as other things).
Staff was efficient and honest, communicated issues and quote well and completed the work same day since it was possible.
I can't say enough positive comments about this Midas location and it's staff! I had used a Midas when I lived in Colorado Springs, CO and had such a seamless experience so when I moved back to the Upstate Midas is who I reached out to. I called and initially spoke with Riley. I own a 2021 Hyundai Kona and it has over 30k miles. The Hyundai dealership told me that I needed to get the 30k mile checkup and would need to plan to spend around $1000!! Riley told me to bring in my vehicle for the FREE 20 point inspection so they could look at what Hyundai was saying that I needed. Well post inspection the only thing I needed out of the laundry list Hyundai told me was to have my brake fluid flushed ($129)! I also decided at the time to buy new tires as they were factory tires and in need of replacement.Through this entire process I spoke with Chaz and Keegan (sp) as well and they were both SO incredibly professional and helpful!!I am thankful to have them in our community to provide people with quality service and the absolute best customer service around!!!Dana

Tire replacement took 2 1/2 hrs until it was done.Damaged tire air pressure sensor on one wheel during installation. We had to come back the next day to have it repaired.Minor scratches a rim after tire replacement.

When I picked up my car, I noticed one of my warning signs was on. I told the technician and he told me the warning sign would turn off after I drove for 5 minutes. I drove all the way home which took about 20 min and the sign is still on.

There was rim damage to both rims on passenger side. Looks like somebody scraped a curb. It is my fault that I did not inspect my vehicle before leaving. And I am stuck with it. I can't prove they did it but I'll never take my car back to Midas.

Pricing of future possible services were too expensive, however were explained well.

I feel that Midas ruined the engine of my Ford Explorer Suv. It took my SUV to Midas in September to change the water pump and the timing belts. The timing belt was not set on properly. Midas kept my SUV for 2 weeks. after a week I had to bring it back because the car was miss firing n the timing was off.This time the timing belt again was put on wrong again but this time they refuse to fix it because I told them this may be a court case. My SUV is not drivable now and they refused to take. My 2013 Ford Explorer and only had $93,000 miles and according to the Kelly Blue book values for $15,000 to 17,000.

Be more truthfull about a problem that existed from a prior repair for the same type of symptom done and paid for again. This was the first time I did not trust them with my repair on a company vehicle. It took four days to get the vehicle repaired and back on the road for diagnostic and ignition switch replacement.
The staff was great and I appreciate them fitting me in for service after my car broke down. There was a little bit of confusion with the expectation of when my car would be ready and their availability for additional work, but they were apologetic. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I was slightly annoyed that one of my hub caps had come off at some point during their servicing and was left on my seat when I got my car back. I'm not sure why they couldn't just pop that back on and wipe down the grease stains on the door handles inside the car. Nevertheless, I think they do good work here. I can not begin to say how wonderful our service was. Our brakes suddenly made a horrible noise and we knew they HAD to be replaced. We called and scheduled an appointment with the nearest midas store because we don't live close to anything but my husband saw an ad. Clearly we happened upon the best store around. The staff went above and beyond even offering to take my 3 kids and I to a park or pick up lunch for us while we waited. They were kind and professional to everyone they spoke to on the phone as I sat in the store for a full 2 hours +. The job was done for a great price and they went over all the checkpoints with me. I wish I could remember the lady's name but she was fabulous, definitely had a servant heart and loves her job!
The work was done on time. It was done for the price agreed upon in advance. Another problem with my car was solved for free while I was there.
Although I do not frequent this location for routine maintenance such as oil changes, that choice is primarily made due to distance from my current residence. That said, I do trust John and his associates with my (lifetime) brakes and rely on their recommendations regarding other major systems such as exhaust. The service is honest, but more importantly, the vehicle remains roadworthy in a rapidly growing area with increasing traffic congestion.

Good place for factory recommended service work. Never had an issue for at least 4 years now.
Midas is trustworthy, honest and dependable.
Midas has been the best shop experience Ive had for my Honda Element. They are easy to get an appointment with and are usually finished within the same day as drop-off. Ive had other shops take 2 or more days before. Midas is convenient, quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Service itself was efficient. It stops there. A quote of $69.00 became $87.00 upon checkout.My car required one more quart of oil for which I was charged almost $10.00.I absolutely never recommend this place to anyone.

Although I appreciate the free tire rotation I would have liked to have been told that they would not be balanced as they need to be and would have probably skipped it since I just paid for this recently. Outherwise a good place to get my truck serviced
Midas has consistently proven excellent customer service and satisfaction. They are always friendly and keep you updated during the service appointment. They maintain the scheduled appointment and complete their services efficiently and quickly.
They are helpful and honest and I plan to take my car there to get my electrical issues on my car checked out.

I was there for over an hour for an oil change. Left there with a 1300 dollar estimate on several repairs. The manager was thorough but slow.

Excellent Service! They realized that I had not done any of the 100,000 miles maintenance so they changed spark plugs and other items which fixed my car. The dealership said I needed a new Catalytic converter at a cost of $1800. Midas saved me So much money by just doing the regular 100,000 maintenance which is all my car needed. Thank you Midas! :)
